WWE is taking control of wrestlers Twitch accounts and plans to split the income, which was previously directly going entirely to talent. As reported yesterday, multiple talents including AJ Styles, Xavier Woods, Zelina Vega, Aleister Black, Mia Yim, and Cesaro have all decided to stop streaming over this.
However, Paige, who has built up a large following and makes significant income, hasn’t hung up her controller yet. During her stream on Thursday, she was very emotional and would say that she cannot deal with WWE anymore, and mentioned that she broke her neck twice for them and now has a very important decision to make as Twitch filled a void in life. Paige is believed to have four years on her WWE contract remaining as WWE was keen to keep her away from AEW. She may, though, have to ask for her release if she wants to continue with her channel to keep full control and revenue.
