On January 5, David Finlay and Yota Tsuji announced the dissolution of War Dogs to form the new stable Unbound Co. This officially ended the legendary BC stable, which had been led previously by Finn Bálor, AJ Styles, Kenny Omega, and Jay White. And now Bálor, who originally founded the group in 2013 when he competed as Prince Devitt in NJPW, has acknowledged the disbandment on Instagram, saying, “Every era ends. Some are never forgotten.”
BC was one of professional wrestling’s most influential factions, helping to revolutionize the business in Japan with its anti-establishment vibe. Additionally, the group gained significant popularity in the US, appearing in AEW, TNA, and ROH. However, with multiple splits and reboots over the years, like with the nWo, it seems the only value now comes from nostalgia.
