NXT Beats AEW Dynamite For The First Time In Wednesday Night Wars

It took Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch but NXT has made it 7-1, winning the rating wars for the first time against Dynamite.

AEW Dynamite decreased from 957,000 average viewers to 893,000 average viewers, and NXT increased from 750,000 viewers to 917,000.

AEW featured Rey Fenix defeating Nick Jackson, a Chris Jericho and Scorpio Sky interview, and Jon Moxley beating Darby Allin in the main event.

NXT was the Takeover: WarGames go-home show and had Becky Lynch vs. Rhea Ripley in a no-contest, Matt Riddle beating Ricochet, and NXT Champion Adam Cole defeating Dominik Dijakovic for the Wargames advantage in a ladder match with Seth Rollins appearing.

It should be noted that AEW won the key demos in all areas except for the over 50’s and that is what proved decisive.
