Nick Khan Comments On Janel Grant’s Allegations Against Vince McMahon

Just days after WWE announced they’d signed a huge deal with Netflix to broadcast Raw, Janel Grant’s shocking allegations against Vince McMahon went public. And now, while speaking on The Town, WWE President Nick Khan has been asked whether the lawsuit could have killed the big-money streaming deal, and in the process of answering, he would call the allegations against his former boss “horrific and serious.

“I don’t know about killed, but it certainly wouldn’t have helped the deal. Those allegations are obviously horrific and serious and we take them and interpret them the same way any other reasonable person or organization would interpret them. You saw the quick resignation.”

Nick Khan’s relationship with WWE was first initiated when Triple H contacted him about booking his then-client Tim Tebow to wrestle Big Show at WrestleMania 30. And while that obviously never occurred, the former lawyer went on to negotiate WWE’s future television deals. From there, he joined the company full-time in 2020 as President and Chief Revenue Officer, reporting directly to McMahon. However, with the billionaire having resigned in disgrace, Khan is effectively WWE’s top person when it comes to day-to-day activities.
