In heartbreaking news, GCW has announced on social media that Sondra Culbertson, the longtime partner and later wife of Nick Gage, passed away earlier this month at the age of just 43. Culbertson, who was a big part of both the CZW and later GCW, is survived by her mother, Debbie, brother Christopher, and sister Bridget. As of writing, no cause of death has been made available by the family, with her family seemingly wanting to keep this private.
Despite Gage’s well-known issues, which include past drug addiction and incarceration, Culbertson always supported him, describing herself as a “ride or die chick” during his Darkside of the Ring episode. The pair had been together since Culbertson was 16 and Gage was 18, and while they never married, most people considered them as good as given their dedication to each other, making this even sadder.
