New Trademark Application Looks To Have Revealed New AEW Trios Team

Trademark news can often be a way to see what wrestlers and promotions are planning, and now it’s been spotted that Adam Copeland, Dax Harwood, and Cash Wheeler could be set format trios team in AEW. This is because the trio has collectively filed a trademark application for “Rated FTR” on Wednesday, October 18. Adding to this speculation is the fact all three men recently appeared together during the conclusion of Collision this past Saturday when they made the save for Bryan Danielson, who was being attacked by Luchasaurus, Nick Wayne, Ricky Starks, and Big Bill at the time.

FTR’s Harwood and Wheeler were recently involved in a trios team alongside CM Punk called CMFTR. However, they only teamed four times in total, with their first match being in June 2022 against Max Caster and Gunn Club and their final one opposite then-Trios Champions House of Black in August 2023. And while their record stands at 2-2, it would likely have ended up being significantly better had Punk not been fired by AEW in September.
