29-year-old Cameron Grimes last wrestled in November 2022, with it understood his career is effectively in limbo as he is finished with NXT but is still awaiting an official call-up to the main roster. Now, though, a new promo photo has been shared online, which shows him sporting a slightly updated look as well as an amazing body transformation, seemingly ahead of his Raw or SmackDown debut.
Grimes made a name for himself as Trevor Lee in TNA between 2015 and 2019 and managed to turn that into signing with WWE in early 2019. Then within three months, he was repackaged as his Cameroon Grimes and participated in the NXT breakout Tournament, which he lost in the final to Jordan Myles. However, his real big break came when he was repackaged in 2021, ad the Richest Man in NXT with it claimed he capitalized on the GameStop stock rise. This would see him feud with both Ted DiBiase and his associate LA Knight.
