This past Friday night, Vince Neil was performing to a boisterous crowd at the Monster on the Mountain festival in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. All had been going well with the show, but disaster struck when the Mötley Crüe signer accidentally stepped off the stage. It’s believed Neul didn’t notice the gap between the stage and a speaker and plunged  4 feet onto the concrete floor. A fan in attendance would capture this moment, and you can view it for yourself below.

Following the fall, Neil would receive assistance from his roadie and security, and despite wanting to continue, he was having problems breathing. As a result, he would be taken to hospital, where it is understood he was diagnosed with broken ribs. While that is obviously a painful injury, fans will be grateful it wasn’t even more severe.

Oh, and for those of you wondering, the show would recommence without Neil, with guitarist and musical director Jeff Blando handling lead vocals
