On Tuesday, an ex-girlfriend of Matt Riddle took to her Twitter account to share some shocking accusations against the WWE star. Telling the company in the process that “you need to fire his ass” concerning his drug usage and abuse of women. And now, seemingly taking a break from rehab or having someone else tweet on his behalf, Riddle has addressed these allegations stating that he has been setting boundaries and saying no for the first time ever. Thus suggesting her allegations are fabrications provoked by him telling her “no.”
Riddle’s name first became associated with abuse allegations when in the summer of 2020, independent wrestler Candy Cartwright made shocking allegations against him dating back to 2018, followed by a lawsuit. Riddle, would go on to acknowledge having an affair with her, but he insists that all of their interactions were mutually consenting. Cartwright subsequently dropped the claim in July 2021, with it remaining unclear whether he or WWE compensated her in any way.
