Maryse Mizanin has shared the devastating news on her Instagram that she is set to undergo a total hysterectomy after receiving a very rare pre-cancer diagnosis. The WWE star would note that if this becomes cancer, “the survival rate is less than a year” and therefore is having her uterus, ovaries, fallopian tubes, cervix, omentum, and abdominal lymph nodes removed. Still, she would show her positivity by saying, “There is only one option, and it’s winning this battle! As a mom of two young daughters, I have too.”
41-year-old Maryse broke into the business in 2006 via WWE’s Diva Search, going on to win the company’s Divas Championship twice. However, to some fans, she is currently better known for appearing on the reality television shows Total Divas and Miz & Mrs alongside her husband, The Miz, whom she married in 2014.
