In recent days, it feels like every wrestler and wrestling personality has been asked about the horrific situation at Rikishi’s KnokX Pro, where Raja Jackson, a trained MMA fighter, brutally beat army veteran Syko Stu Smith unconscious. Yet while most have condemned the son of Rampage Jackson’s actions, Mark Henry has actually backed Raja, telling TMZ, “You gotta be careful with who you’re messing with.”
And now, having received a great deal of fan backlash for not placing all the blame on Raja, Henry has doubled down while appearing on AM 1300 The Zone, stating “There’s consequences for everything that you put out in this universe,” and adding “I’m bulletproof,” regarding attempts to cancel him.
After a successful powerlifting career, Henry joined the wrestling industry via WWE in 1996 at the age of 24. From there, he worked for the company for over two decades and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2018. Still, in 2021, he felt he was being held back, leading to his decision to switch promotions and join AEW after a conversation with Vince McMahon. However, his AEW run was far from memorable, and he is now connected to WWE again via a Legends contract.
