Most recently, Andrade has been wrestling as a tag wrestler alongside Rey Fénix. However, having not wrestled since SummerSlam, there had been some talk online that he was injured. Yet it now appears his absence has nothing to do with an injury, as, according to Fightful Select, he has departed WWE, despite having considerable time left on his contract.
“Andrade has left WWE. We were told that this would not have been a case of his contract simply expiring, as he had more than 18 months on his deal when he signed last year.”Fightful Select
As of writing, it isn’t publicly known why he has exited the company, but it has already resulted in much speculation online. What this means for his future in the business is also unclear, as while a talented performer, his time in AEW was far from memorable, and given he left the promotion to return to WWE, it seems unlikely becoming All Elite is an option for him.
