At one time, Scorpio Sky looked set for big things in AEW, having gotten a pinfall victory over Chris Jericho and twice holding the TNT Championship. However, he hadn’t worked for either AEW or its sister promotion, ROH, in over a year, leading to speculation that his future could be elsewhere.
Yet it now appears Sky is set to get another opportunity to prove his value to the company after he returned to action during this week’s Collision taping. This would occur as part of Max Castor’s open challenge, with Sky getting the victory and subsequently celebrating with Christopher Daniels and Top Flight, teasing a new faction.
42-year-old Sky initially broke into the time business in 2002, working as a masked wrestler named Gallinero Tres. From there, he began to make his name via PWG, which opened the door for him to compete on MTV’s Wrestling Society X in 2006. And while he bounced around promotions, including TNA, New Japan, and ROH, his big break would finally come in 2019 when he became All Elite.
