On Saturday night at the Nashville birthday bash for Bon Jovi keyboardist David Bryan, Kid Rock made a guest appearance helping sing the Creedence Clearwater Revival classic, “Proud Mary.”

Fan-filmed video uploaded to TikTok showed that the song started out fine, but Rock became agitated after urging the audience to clap along to the song. While some fans followed the direction, several others were seen and heard socializing during the performance. At one point Rock halted everything saying, “F*ck them. F*ck them. Hey, hey, stop. If you ain’t gonna clap, we ain’t gonna sing. That’s how it’s gonna go.”

The song started back up, and he again tried to get the audience to clap along with him while also urging them, “Don’t get too fast.” It seemed things were back on track, but within a minute or so, Rock stopped singing and said, “You know what? F*ck y’all. You ain’t gonna clap, I’m gone.” He then quickly stormed off as the confused band, including Bryan, looked on.

The footage can be seen below.
