Kevin Nash Takes Aim At LA Knight Again

Kevin Nash Takes Aim At LA Knight Again

Three months ago, Kevin Nash aimed his vitriol towards up-and-coming WWE star LA Knight, calling him an “absolute rip-off of The Rock” and saying “there’s nothing original” about him during his Kliq This podcast. And now, a few weeks on from Knight having seemingly taken a shot back at Nash on SmackDown by mocking the time he mixed up verbs and adjectives in WCW, Nash has doubled down on his criticism of Knight’s perceived lack of originality, going as far as to call him a “bottom feeder.”

“I had forgotten about it until, YEAH, LA Knight brought it up on SmackDown. Based on the response the SmackDown crowd gave him, I’m quite sure they had forgotten about it also. I read different things where he took a shot at me. How is that really taking a shot? This is a guy that is basically a bottom feeder.”

“I’m in the Hall of Fame twice, both times as Kevin Nash. He’s LA Knight. What the fu*k is LA Knight? Is that Night Ranger’s first vinyl, the name of it? It’s like Oz. You’re the evening? What is LA Knight? Anything he can f*cking steal, he’s on it. Nothing original, certainly.”

While Nash’s criticism of Knight for borrowing from those who came before him isn’t unique, it doesn’t take away from the fact that he is getting incredibly over with WWE fans. And while the company hasn’t yet strapped a rocket to his back and pushed him at the level some fans are craving, it is presumed that is inevitable with his merchandise sales and popularity increasing by the week.
