Kaylie Guerrero, the youngest daughter of the late WWE Hall of Famer Eddie Guerrero, regularly mentioned her legendary father on social media, clearly missing him. And now, after attending a recent Creed concert, Kaylie has revealed on X that the alternative metal performers, known for their Christian rock lyrics, were Eddie’s favourite band. This was accompanied by a video showing Stapp Scott singing the iconic power ballad “With Arms Wide Open,” which reached number one on the US Billboard Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart in July 2000.

Creed was formed in 1994 in Tallahassee, Florida, by Scott Stapp and Mark Tremonti, and rose to prominence in the late 1990s post-grunge era. Their debut, My Own Prison, went multi-platinum, followed by diamond-certified Human Clay and then Weathered, which collectively sold over 53 million albums worldwide. The band disbanded in 2004 amid tensions, reunited briefly in 2009 for Full Circle, and remained dormant until 2023. However, fueled by nostalgia and a viral resurgence, Creed launched massively successful reunion tours in 2024-2025 and are appearing at multiple festivals in 2026.
