Darby Allin is currently recuperating at home after a recent Continental Classic match left him hospitalized. And now, during his Grilling JR podcast, the WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross has warned the star that his extreme, high-risk wrestling style will eventually catch up to him. While praising Allin as a person, he would say, “Some of these days, you know, your luck’s going to run out. Because he does things if you miss it by an inch or two, you’re in trouble.”
32-year-old Allin has been AEW’s fearless daredevil since 2019, with his Coffin Drop becoming one of the most iconic finishing moves in the promotion’s history. However, his desire to dive from extreme heights has led to multiple injuries, including a broken foot and a concussion. Therefore, if Allin wants to wrestle into his 40s, he should likely take Ross’ advice on board.
