Jim Cornette Lashes Out At “Dipsh*t” David Otunga Following TMZ Interview

David Otunga is currently rebranding himself as a YouTuber and has already amassed thousands of subscribers, keen to hear behind-the-scenes stories and legal takes relating to the business. However, it appears Jim Cornette won’t be hitting the subscribe and like button anytime soon, as he has taken to X to call the lawyer a “dipsh*t” after he stated The Great Khali trained at Ohio Valley Wrestling, when in fact he broke into the business via All Pro Wrestling.

The reason former OVW part-owner Cornette wanted to clarify this was because during a new interview with TMZ, Otunga stated he sandbagged Khali’s attempt to hit him with a modified flapjack maneuver because “He killed somebody with that in OVW by accident.

For those unaware, this is in reference to Brian Ong, who tragically died in 2001 after a bad landing during a training session in APW, which resulted in a wrongful-death lawsuit. According to reports, Ong grabbed Khali’s shirt when receiving the move, which resulted in his head being whipped back against the mat. While obviously, unintentionally, his family would win $1.3 million in legal damages, as APW had allowed Ong to continue wrestling despite having previously suffered a concussion, which almost certainly played a part in his death.
