Janel Grant’s Lawyer Comments On The Rock & John Cena Sill Being In Touch With Vince McMahon

On Wednesday, CNBC reported that Vince McMahon has kept in touch with John Cena and The Rock since resigning from WWE. Obviously, there is nothing unlawful about this, but it is a bad look for Hollywood stars, considering Janel Grant’s startling allegations against their former boss. And now, Grant’s lawyer, Ann Callis, has commented on this, telling Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics that it is “shameful.

“It’s shameful that Mr. Johnson and Mr. Cena would associate themselves with an individual with decades of allegations just like Janel’s. Behind-the-scenes support is louder than any public statement ever could be.

Vince McMahon’s world began to fall apart when it was made public that the billionaire was making hush money payments between 2006 and 2022. Initially, he would retire but would return six months later, with some believing he was never really gone. However, once Grant filed her lawsuit and the horrendous claims became known, he resigned “out of respect for the WWE Universe, TKO, shareholders, and business partners” despite claiming he was innocent via a spokesperson.
