To say Jack Perry’s AEW career has been eventful would be an understatement, with multiple gimmick changes and backstage drama. And now, having reunited with his former tag partner Luchasaurus, AEW’s official roster website page lists him as “Jungle Jack Perry,” having previously been called Jungle Boy, then Jungle Boy Jack Perry, and most recently Scapegoat Jack Perry.
Perry and Luchasaurus first began teaming up in 2019, initially for Joey Ryan’s Bar Wrestling indie promotion under the name “A Boy and His Dinosaur.” Subsequently, the pair would sign with AEW, as Tony Khan needed to fill his roster with several unknown names, having just launched the promotion. From there, the duo aligned with Marko Stunt, creating a new stable called Jurassic Express. However, after their run as AEW World Tag Team Champions ended, Perry and Luchasaurus would feud, as Khan saw them as future singles stars.
