Injury To Top AEW Star Has Forced Tony Khan To Make A Last-Minute Change To All In: Texas

In disappointing news for AEW fans, Tony Khan has announced on social media that Adam Cole has had to vacate the TNT Championship, which he only won three months ago. This is due to Cole’s injury requiring him to “take some time away” to recover. Therefore, Khan has booked a four-way match at All In: Texas between Sammy Guevara, Dustin Rhodes, Daniel Garcia, and original challenger Kyle Fletcher to find a new champion.

36-year-old Cole hasn’t had the best fortune since joining AEW, as in addition to a severely broken ankle, which kept him out of action for a year, he also previously missed nine months after being diagnosed with a career-threatening concussion at Forbidden Door in 2022. Still, the former NXT Wrestler bravely battled back from both of those setbacks and hopefully can again do so from this latest one.
