Indie Wrestler Who Appeared In Dark Side Of The Ring Dies Following Match

In sad news, it has been reported by Slam Wrestling that after wrestling a match for a fundraising show in Hamilton, Ontario, Rob Thomson, who wrestled as Rob Rage, has died. The 41-year-old Canadian suffered a heart attack in the locker room, and despite best efforts to resuscitate him, he passed away in the ambulance on the way to the hospital.

While not well-known to wrestling fans outside of the Canadian wrestling scene, he had worked as an actor and, in recent years, appeared in Dark Side of the Ring portraying Road Warrior Hawk, Dr. D David Schultz, and Hulk Hogan. Our thoughts go out to his family and friends during this tragic time.
