Just days before Hulk Hogan’s passing, his first wife, Linda, shared a photograph of them on Instagram, captioned “The good old days.” And now, seemingly having had time to take in the fact he has since died, she has now acknowledged the sad news, posting an emotional statement in the comments section where she declares, “You were my man. The only man for me.“

“I had no idea he would pass away this soon . We all really thought he would make a come back ! Big surprise . We are all devastated . It’s hitting me so hard . I loved Hulkster more than he loved me . It hurt when he cheated . But he was sooo famous . I sort of u detstood but it was crushing … It’s so hard to know he’s just gone . I tried to stay strong for Nick .. but I’m melting down now . It’s very sad . I love you Hulkster . You were my man . The only man for me . RIP”Linda Hogan

Linda and Hulk met in a Los Angeles restaurant, and despite his being constantly on the road, they began dating. This led them to marry in 1983, with some of the biggest names in the business attending their no-expense-spared wedding. Subsequently, they would have two children, first a girl named Brooke and then a boy named Nick. However, despite appearing to be a happy family, Linda filed for divorce in 2007 after Hulk allegedly cheated on her with one of Brooke’s friends.
