How Bray Wyatt’s Merchandise Sales Are Doing & His Internal Roster Spot Confirmed

Even WWE’s biggest detractors must acknowledge that Bray Wyatt’s return to the company has been a massive success. And now it has been revealed by PWInsider.com that despite only having a limited amount of items for sale via WWEShop.com, he has already returned to being the company’s top merchandise seller. Which is a position he regularly achieved before his 2021 release. Additionally, it has been reported that the company is booking him as their number one babyface on SmackDown, which will be interesting to see play out on television, as Wyatt has predominantly been a heel throughout his wrestling career.

WWE has internally slotted Bray Wyatt as the top babyface for the Smackdown brand, PWInsider.com has confirmed. Drew McIntyre is currently slotted as the second on that list. WWE has been absolutely thrilled with the rollout of the Wyatt return as he’s been the company’s top merchandise seller in recent weeks. There are plans to roll out additional Wyatt merchandise including plush versions of the Firefly Funhouse characters.

Being SmackDown’s top babyface is a considerable responsibility and would eventually put him in line to meet the brand’s top heel, Roman Reigns. Yet, at the moment, Wyatt appears to be feuding with characters in his mind, which is certainly a bizarre concept. However, considering how unorthodox his gimmick is, it does currently work. However, how it plays out when it comes to competing in the ring remains to be seen and will likely decide whether this incarnation of Wyatt is considered as brilliant creative or a future WrestleCrap.com induction.
