Last week, actress Megan Fox wiped all traces of what appears to be her former fiancé Machine Gun Kelly from her Instagram. Some speculated it was due to MGK cheating on her with his guitarist, Sophie Lloyd.
Fox appeared with MGK earlier this month at the Grammy Awards, but days later, she deleted all of her photos with him from social media. She unfollowed him and posted a series of photos with the Beyonce lyrics “You can taste the dishonesty / It’s all over you breath”.
Fox’s account has since been deactivated. Lloyd has denied the rumors, and her team issued a statement to People.
“Sophie Lloyd is a professional, accomplished musician who has been needlessly dragged into the media based off of meritless accusations made by social media,” read the statement.
“Any suggestion that she has ever acted in an unprofessional manner or stepped out of her relationship are untrue. It’s disrespectful to her as a female artist and poor journalism and social commentary to be reporting anything else.”
Lloyd first garnered a large social media following with popular guitar cover versions of hit rock and metal songs. She joined MGK’s band in the spring of 2022.
Last week, MGK headlined the Coors Light Birds Nest as part of a Super Bowl concert series late last week in Arizona. He also revealed that he was electrocuted during the performance, and he shared a screen shot of a fan video of the incident which sees his hair stand on end as the shock happens. MGK shook it off quickly and went back to the show.
“[G]etting electrocuted during a performance was a first for me…but the hair’s cool,” he wrote on social media.
