As anyone watching AEW will know, Jon Moxley isn’t afraid to bleed, and he would do just that at tonight’s NJPW Strong Independence Day show. In a match where he teamed with Homicide against El Desperado and Jun Kasai, he would get skewered in the head, which left quite a visual, with the below photo beginning to go viral thanks to both positive and negative reactions.
Ultimately Moxley and Homicide would end up defeated after a low blow to Homicide and a pair of pinche locos. However, neither man will be able to spend much time recuperating as both are booked for night two of the Independence Day card, with Homicide appearing in another tag encounter. At the same time, Moxley faces El Desperado in a singles match described as a “Final Death Match.”
