Goldberg Says He’d Die For Vince McMahon

Bill Goldberg is currently doing the media rounds promoting his just-released documentary on the WWE Network, and among those he has spoken to his BleacherReport.com. Goldberg’s feelings for Vince McMahon came up in the interview, and he’d reveal his relationship has totally changed since he first worked for WWE’s head honcho in March 2003.

I hated him in the beginning, and now I’d die for him. Let’s be perfectly honest, I don’t think there’s a bigger swing of judgment than I have had since I’ve been in WWE. I went into the business at WWE with unrealistic expectations. I went into WWE with my back against the wall, thinking everyone was out to get me. It was a tough situation for me to exist in, and it was almost an impossible situation for me to coexist in on a positive note. With that first year out of the way, I’ve grown as a wrestler. I’ve grown as a human being, and I’d like to think that Vince and I have grown as friends.Goldberg

While Goldberg’s first run with WWE turned him from one of the world’s biggest wrestlers to just another WWE roster member. It’s easy to understand why Goldberg is now such a fan of Vince McMahon. At almost 54 years of age, McMahon is paying him millions of dollars for two matches per year, and the next time he steps in the ring to compete will likely be the main event of WrestleMania 37 against Romain Reigns.
