Independent wrestling star Warhorse, unfortunately, suffered a broken fibula during a match on December 21, 2025, and is now set for 6-8 weeks out of the ring. Therefore, his friends have launched a GoFundMe to help him, with $5,812 raised as of the time of writing, and AEW’s Danhausen is currently the top donor, having generously given $1,000.
Warhorse, real name Jake Parnell, debuted in 2013 initially as “The Little Viking” in the Viking War Party tag team. Then in 2019, he reinvented himself as the heavy metal-inspired warhorse, a face-painted, high-energy character famous for his headbanging, which led to his AEW debut in 2020, where he memorably wrestled Cody Rhodes on Dynamite. Additionally, he is known for his “Warhausen” tag team with Danhausen, which gained huge popularity with indie fans.
