GoFundMe Launched For Former WCW Cruiserweight Damián 666

Earlier this week, Bestia 666, who is the son of Damián 666, disclosed on Facebook that his father had sadly suffered a heart attack. And now the family has officially launched a GoFundMe with a goal of $20,000 towards paying his spiraling medical costs. As of writing, $3,593 has been raised from 80 kind contributors, and there is still plenty of time for the lofty target to be met.

62-year-old Damián 666 became a wrestler in the mid-80s and made his name in Mexico and Japan before working in the States, first with ECW in 1996 and then WCW between 1997 and 1999. In WCW, he would actually use two gimmicks, “Damian” and “Galaxy,” but it was never acknowledged that it was the same person. Additionally, he was part of Eddie Guerrero’s version of the Latino World Order alongside other well-known luchadors, including La Parka, Psychosis, and Héctor Garza.
