Earlier this year, Millie McKenzie, who wrestled in NXT UK under the name Emilia McKenzie, disclosed she had a rare type of liver disease and had to step away from the ring. And now, ahead of her liver transplant, a GoFundMe has been launched to help the British wrestler pay her bills while unable to work.
25-year-old McKenzie first rose to prominence via the UK indie scene, wrestling for both Progress and RevPro. From there, she worked for WWE as part of NXT UK, and although her time in the company was short, she has since become a regular in Japan, achieving success with Sendai Girls, winning the World, Junior, and World Tag Team titles, as well as the SHE-1.
