Freddie Prinze Jr. Has Possibly Made A “Serious Offer” To Bray Wyatt To Work For His Upcoming Promotion

Freddie Prinze Jr., best known for his roles in She’s All That, Scooby-Doo, and I Know What You Did Last Summer, previously worked for WWE in the role of producer and director. At one time, he was even considered for the lead writer’s position but departed the company to focus on being a father. However, he still follows the product, remains in contact with several of his former colleagues, and is currently planning on starting his own promotion. And with the launch of that promotion getting closer, Fightful Select has reported one of their sources has insinuated to them that the actor has made a “serious offer” to Bray Wyatt. However, it should be noted that this isn’t 100% confirmed, and another startup promotion may have made the offer.

Fightful Select has learned that there is standing offer from a “startup wrestling company” for Bray Wyatt to join. We haven’t heard if he has any interest or has accepted, but were told that it’s a “serious” offer, though that can mean different things to different people. It was heavily implied to Fightful that it would be Freddie Prinze Jr’s eventual wrestling company, though not explicitly stated. Upon returning to WWE, it was revealed that Prinze had planned to have Kross heavily featured in his plans moving forward, but had to adjust as a result. We haven’t learned if Wyatt was planned prior to that.

It seems incredibly unlikely that Wyatt would seriously consider signing for the new promotion. Yet, stranger things have happened, and it may be possible if a stake in the company and total creative freedom was included. Nevertheless, it’s been rumored that Wyatt will be returning to WWE with Triple H now in control, and the fact WWE’s new head of talent relations spoke about him in an interview with Ariel Helwani of BT Sport makes it seem inevitable. Plus, considering how much merchandise WWE sold of The Fiend character despite him being squashed by Goldberg, it seems a no-brainer to bring him back.
