Fandango, now going by the ring name Johnny Dango Curtis, shortened to JDC, previously considered retiring from the business, as he seemed unhappy with his post-WWE career. However, he thankfully found a new home in TNA, which even opened the door for him to return to NXT. And now, demonstrating that he is living his best life, the former WWE star has taken to Instagram to announce that he has tied the knot, saying “I’ve found my home,” and calling it “truly the best day of my life.”
Fandango began wrestling in 1999 and joined WWE’s developmental territory, Deep South, in 2006, followed by Florida Championship Wrestling in 2007. After receiving a few opportunities on WWE television, his big break came in 2013 when he was repackaged as a ballroom dancer and received a significant push, defeating Chris Jericho at WrestleMania. From there, he was meant to win the Intercontinental Championship, although after suffering a concussion working with The Great Khali, he needed to take time off, and Curtis Axel would instead take his spot, ending his main roster momentum.
