In a candid new interview with Sportshadow, former WWE wrestler Layla has discussed her past romance with Cody Rhodes, admitting she was drawn to his incredible drive and star potential long before he became a global star. The 48-year-old explained that she always believed in his vision of greatness even when others doubted, noting that Rhodes has since achieved everything he dreamed of, proving her instincts were right.
“I started dating Cody because I knew he was going to be a star, and he had a lot of dreams, and everything that he told me he was going to do, he’s done it. So congratulations to him because for someone who can tell you their dreams and they’re going to make it happen and they do make it happen, congratulations. Of course, I saw it because I wouldn’t have dated him or been with him if I didn’t see everything that people are seeing now.” – Layla
