WWE released Jakara Jackson in early May along with several other talents. Yet, while disappointing, the former Meta-Four faction member wouldn’t let this end her pro wrestling ambitions, continuing her career on the indies under the new ring name, Mara Sadè.
And now she has appeared for TNA under this new name as The IInspiration’s mystery tag partner against The Elegance Brand during this week’s iMPACT! with it later confirmed via a press release that she had inked a contract.
30-year-old Jackson’s journey in the pro wrestling world is still relatively new, with her WWE signing in 2021 coming despite no prior wrestling experience. Yet while she has not had any really memorable matches yet, her NXT tag team with Lash Legend showed plenty of potential. Therefore, when WWE decided she was surplus to requirements, many felt her departure was premature.
