In shocking news, the Northwest Arkansas Democrat Gazette has reported that 41-year-old Kevin Nikel has tragically died after being shot. Nikel is best known to wrestling fans for his time in NXT between 2012 and 2013, where he competed as Knuckles Madsen and shared a ring with future main roster talents Rusev, Mojo Rawley, and Baron Corbin.
“Deputies located a man, later identified as 41-year-old Kevin Nikel, with an apparent gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital, where he died … The shooting is an active investigation, and no further details will be released at this time.”Northwest Arkansas Democrat Gazette
Nikel broke into the business back in 2007, initially working in Tennessee, although most recently, he had been wrestling on the Texas independent scene under the name Ivan Warsaw. And while not much is public regarding his personal life, it is understood that he is survived by a son.
