In sad news, PWInsider.com has reported that former AWA wrestler Jake “The Milkman” Milliman has entered hospice care. As of writing, the health condition that the 78-year-old is suffering from has not been publicly disclosed, and all that can be hoped is that his final days are as painless as possible.

Milliman broke into the business in the early ’80s via the AWA and worked with names like Hulk Hogan, Baron von Raschke, and Nick Bockwinkel, typically putting over the bigger stars. Additionally, he worked for WWE from 1987 to 89 as an enhancement talent, putting over Jimmy Snuka, Tito Santana, One Man Gang, and The Red Rooster. And while his full-time wrestling career ended in the early ’90s, he remained in the business, working indie shows up until 2016.
