Lady Frost has openly revealed she was denied entry at the Canadian border because of two DUIs from 19 and 13 years ago. The former AEW and ROH star explained on X.com that this was why she was unable to make her scheduled appearance for GRKWrestling this weekend. Additionally, she reflected on her difficult past while still taking full responsibility for her mistakes as a young adult.
“I got held up at the Canadian border, and apparently they take two DUIs 19 and 13 years ago very seriously. I am not allowed to enter the country until the proper paperwork has been filed. It could take around a year. I have done everything in my power to become a better person after 2013 when I didn’t even want to live … I am so sorry to @GRKWrestling and all of the fans and other workers for missing this show, and future events.” – Lady Frost
Canada maintains stringent border policies under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, which classifies DUIs as serious criminality even for decades-old convictions. This tough stance prioritizes public safety, although options exist for those seeking to still enter, including a Temporary Resident Permit for urgent or temporary visits, which is likely what Frost will pursue in the future.
