Former AEW Dark Regular Arrives In NXT With New Name

Two months ago, it was reported that former AEW Dark regular Madi Wrenkowski had signed with WWE following a successful tryout. And now, after previously appearing backstage in an NXT Anonymous Video, she has made her full NXT in-ring debut as a participant in a battle royal, where she eliminated Lash Legend. However, as expected, she has changed her name to something WWE can own, so going forward, she will be called Wren Sinclair.

28-year-old Wrenkowski broke into the business in her home state of Texas via the Hybrid School of Wrestling in 2019, where former WWE wrestler Funaki coaches. The following year, she would make her debut in AEW on the promotion’s now-defunct YouTube show Dark in a match against Leyla Hirsch. Subsequently, she would wrestle 24 further times for the company, with her most high-profile match being on the March 23, 2022, episode of Rampage when she put over Nyla Rose in a short contest.
