Korn bassist Fieldy recently appeared on the Basement Talk podcast to share untold stories from the band, talk about his first show ever and how he’s dealt with the rockstar lifestyle. The 55-year-old musician has been on hiatus with the band for some time previously announcing he was sitting out Korn’s 2021 tour to keep from “falling back” on some of his “bad habits.”
After speculation from fans that those “bad habits” might be a drug problem, Fieldy clarified that’s not the case, and the only real vice he has is Bud Light.
When asked what his current relationship is like with his bandmates, he offered no real timetable for his return telling Basement Talk: “I haven’t talked to those guys since 2019. So it’s like we kind of just both…. They’re truckin’. They’re a machine. They’re going. It’s insane. It’s dope that they can keep on going like that. Yeah. It’s cool to see them keep on going. I’m, like, I need to chill. I’m just kickin’ it.”
