While it is far from confirmed, social media is currently buzzing after a fan shared photos on X of The Rock apparently working out at Amped Fitness in Birmingham, Alabama, which is only 20 minutes away from where SmackDown is taking place tonight. How reputable this fan is remains to be seen; however, with Roman Reigns scheduled to appear and The Rock recently joining TKO’s Board of Directors, it would make sense.
The Rock began wrestling for WWE in 1996 after his football career failed to take off, and within a few years, he established himself as one of the biggest stars in the business due to his mic skills. Then, thanks to his mainstream appeal, he would eventually move into acting and, over time, become more well-known for his blockbuster film roles than his prior wrestling career. Yet, he never turned his back on the wrestling industry, and many fully expect him to wrestle his first full match in over a decade against Reigns sometime this year.
