Gzim Selmani, known by wrestling fans as Rezar, departed WWE for the second time in February 2025, leaving his future in the business in question. And now MMA journalist Damon Martin reports that the former Final Testament stable member is resuming his MMA career, having signed with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship. As of writing, no match has been confirmed, although it’s understood Selmani is expected to fight at KnuckleMania VI in February 2026.
Selmani holds a 6-2 MMA record, having competed in Bellator and BAMMA, where he notably submitted Oli Thompson in 18 seconds. However, he seemingly put his fighting career behind him when he signed with WWE in 2015, forming the dominant Authors of Pain tag team with Akam, winning the NXT Tag Team Championships and the Raw Tag Team Championships. And while he and the duo would be released in 2020, they were rehired in 2023, re-debuting the following year on SmackDown.
