Enzo Amore Comments On Speculation He Could Be Chris Jericho’s Tag Partner At Worlds End

Chris Jericho needs a new partner for his tag team championship match at Worlds End against current champions Big Bill and Ricky Starks after Kenny Omega was unfortunately diagnosed with diverticulitis. Subsequently, fans online have been speculating on who this could be, with Enzo Amore’s name frequently coming up due to his past connection with Big Bill. And now the former WWE Cruiserweight Championship has commented on this when asked during a virtual signing with K&S WrestleFest.

“Would I? That is definitely something that is not in the cards right now because I am a free agent. I don’t know what the deal is over there, I don’t know who is doing what, who has the pencil, I don’t know who is wrestling who. I just know that I’m damn proud of Big Bill holding the tag team titles. The last thing I would ever want to do is break his leg and take it away from him. I love that guy. I’m pulling for him, I’m rooting for him.”

Enzo Amore

37-year-old Amore has been out of the mainstream wrestling spotlight since being released by WWE in 2018 after failing to tell WWE management about a sexual assault allegation. The investigation ended up getting dropped due to insufficient evidence. Still, WWE didn’t bring him back because he was not upfront with them. At one point, he tried to stage his own return by buying tickets for the 2018 Survivor Series and attempting to get on television but was promptly ejected from the building.
