When asked to name a woman connected to ECW, most fans would say Francine, who worked for the promotion between 1995 and 2001. And while her focus is currently on raising her children, she remains connected to the wrestling business via her podcast. However, she has now caused concern for her listeners after revealing that a growth has been found in her left breast, although she is trying to take comfort in the fact that doctors aren’t rushing her in for treatment.
Francine is synonymous with the original ECW, where she was known as the “Queen of Extreme.” Still, she would also get an opportunity in WWE when she was put in an angle alongside Balls Mahoney, who was feuding with Kevin Thorn and Ariel at the time. This would lead to Francine wrestling Ariel in an Extreme Catfight on the September 26, 2006, episode of ECW on Sci-Fi. Yet, after Mahoney disappointingly failed a drug test, she was released on October 12, 2006, despite Mahoney himself staying employed for a further 18 months.
