Two weeks ago, Dustin Rhodes took to social media to reveal he needed to have both of his knees replaced, but wasn’t planning on retiring, declaring, “This is not the end.” And now, having undergone the surgery, he has shared an update on X, confirming he is home, but unfortunately, noted he suffered a fall due to low blood pressure, indicating the road to recovery won’t be easy.

Rhodes broke into the business in 1988, and thanks to being the son of the legendary Dusty Rhodes, the door was open for him to work for WWE, WCW, and All Japan while still considered a rookie. Nevertheless, he proved he was worthy of his opportunities and ultimately cemented his own legacy as the iconic Goldust character. Therefore, some fans have speculated that Rhodes could end his in-ring career under this gimmick, although that seems unlikely, as he signed a six-year contract with AEW last year to be a wrestler, coach, and brand ambassador.
