Disappointedly, AEW’s official Instagram account was forced to limit comments on their post about Deonna Purrazzo vs. Red Velvet this weekend after some fans concentrated on Purrazzo’s figure rather than the match. Some spiteful users would go as far as to compare her to Samoa Joe and even questioned her dedication to the business. However, Purrazzo has seemingly not taken this criticism too badly, as he has now shared on X a photo of her in a bikini captioned, “Let’s give ‘em something to talk about…“
29-year-old Purrazzo previously looked destined for the top after signing with WWE in 2018, although she would only stay with the company for two years before being released. Still, she has since proven she is made of sterner stuff, as rather than quit, she reinvented herself in Impact Wrestling and subsequently caught the attention of Tony Khan, who made her All Elite two weeks ago.
