Following his comments and subsequent violent behavior following All Out, it wouldn’t be surprising if CM Punk never stepped foot in an AEW ring again. However, it appears if that is the case, it won’t be his decision because, according to FTR’s Dax Harwood on the latest episode of his podcast, the former WWE star wants to return and give back to the fans.
I talk to Punk almost every day, and Punk misses wrestling, that’s your headline, Punk misses wrestling, and Punk wants to come back. And he wants to give back to the fans, he wants to get back to wrestling.

Ultimately it could come down to whether Punk is willing to apologize for his actions, although whether the key players involved in the backstage altercation are prepared to accept remains to be seen.
