Following weeks of buildup, the contents of WWE’s mystery crate were revealed during Elimination Chamber, with former AEW wrestler Danhausen and his dancers emerging. Going on to gift Michael Cole a jar of teeth before disappearing, fan feedback has been mixed so far, with many delighted to see Danhausen, while others, seemingly unaware of his work elsewhere, are confused by his act.

Still, Danhausen looks set to be featured prominently in WWE going forward, with PWInsider.com noting he’ll be on Raw this week, apparently byspassing NXT. And now, acknowledging his debut in WWE and long absence from fans’ screens, the quirky performer tweeted, “Danhausen is ALIVE and back inside your television.

35-year-old Danhausen first found fame on the indies, with his gimmick helping him go viral. Thereforw hwen hesigned with AEW in January 2022, it appeared heis carrer was going to really take off. He subsequently debuted on Dynamite’s Beach Break special by emerging from under the ring to aid Orange Cassidy against Adam Cole and immediately became a top merchandise seller. However, he wouldn’t make his in-ring debut until May, and while there were highlights like his “Hookhausen” alliance with Hook, a torn pectoral halted his momentum, and he was hardly used again despite his contract being extended.
