During the 12th of May episode of SmackDown, Liv Morgan suffered an injured shoulder when she and Raquel Rodriguez defended their WWE Women’s Tag Titles against Damage CTRL members Bayley and Dakota Kai. And now it has been reported by F4Wonline.com that Kai was also injured in the match, suffering a torn ACL.
Apparently, the injury occurred when Kai was trying to protect the already injured Morgan, and now she faces 6-12 months on the sidelines following surgery. This is obviously a blow for the Damage CTRL stable, who have already faced rumors of splitting up in recent weeks. However, the remaining members, Bayley and IYO Sky, are teaming up on this week’s pre-taped SmackDown.
