However, it has now been revealed by Bea Priestley, who worked for WWE as Blair Davenport, that the Scottish wrestler was almost All Elite. According to Priestley who was speaking with The Sweet Pop, when Cody and Brandi Rhodes were recruiting talents for AEW, they offered Niven a contract, but she couldn’t sign it as she’d already inked a WWE contract to appear on their NXT UK brand.
34-year-old Niven was previously known by the name Doudrop, and at times, it appeared her WWE future was in jeopardy due to a lack of television time.
