Controversial Former WWE Writer Gives Three Reasons Why TKO Will Get Rid Of Triple H

At the moment, Triple H is at the top of the pro wrestling world, having been the man primarily responsible for a highly acclaimed two-night WrestleMania event. However, former WWE writer and current podcaster Vince Russo doesn’t think his success will last, saying during a recent show that he believes Triple H’s days are numbered due to The Rock joining the board and TKO wanting to eliminate any “Vince McMahon stench.

“Number one, with Rock now playing a more significant role with Rock bringing in Brian Gewirtz when it comes to the creative side of things, I’m sure Rock has his own people lined up that he’d love to bring in. Number one, I feel there is no longer a need for Triple H. There’s no longer a need for him with Rock there. Rock will put his own people in charge. He’s already got Gewirtz there.

Number two, we cannot forget the history between Rock and Triple H and Shawn Michaels wrestlers will tell you, bro, they never forget. They never forget. And these two guys at the height of DX made Rock’s life miserable, never thinking in a million years, one day this guy’s going to be our boss. So that’s number two.

Number three, if I am TKO and I am not sure what’s coming down the pike. We need to clean this company of any Vince McMahon stench. Anybody that was close to him, anybody that was around them. Because who knows, who knows what?”

While Triple H has significantly influenced WWE’s product for many years due to his relationship with Stephanie McMahon and his position on the card, it wasn’t until 2010 that he was officially recognized in a management position. From there, he quickly climbed the corporate ladder, and following McMahon’s short-lived retirement, he became Chief Content Officer, which, according to insiders, means he now controls 99.9% of the promotion’s creative direction.
